SMM on Patreon!

That’s right, SMM now has a Patreon page! For those of you who can’t get enough of SMM, our Patreon is the place for you. Remember that Silent Motorist Media is an ad-free space; we also insist on paying our writers. That means we depend on support from readers like you to keep things going. Consider becoming a member so we can continue promoting the hard working writers of the small press world.

Help us, and we will make it worth your while. We’ve already posted content on our Patreon page exclusively for patrons, including a early look at an essay titled Reading in the Age of Trump: The Danger of Low-Hanging Fruit, and the first poem in an unpublished poetry series by Justin A. Burnett. And that’s just the beginning. Our Patreon page will roughly keep up with the main site in terms of content, providing an exclusive, behind-the-scenes treatment to materials you won’t find anywhere else. WIPs, project announcements, writing notes, videos, serial short fiction, and access to google doc files where you can watch the writing unfold in real-time are just a few of the SMM goodies we have in store for you. At SMM, we’re always writing, whether for personal publication or SMM content; at SMM’s Patreon, you’ll have access to a large portion of what casual SMM readers will never see.

On Patreon, you can also sign up to become a member of the SMM Street Team, where you can directly interact with the good folks that make SMM happen on a daily basis. Check out our tiers of patron membership, decide your preferred level of involvement, and subscribe to join us in our efforts to support small-press authors. We can’t do this without your help.
